Baby and toddler care

Baby & Toddler Care

Our baby and toddler room provides a warm, secure environment where the youngest children can explore, play and develop at their own pace. Each child follows a personalised routine that mirrors their home schedule.

  • Individual sleep, feed and play routines
  • Sensory exploration and treasure baskets
  • 1:3 staff-to-child ratio (above statutory requirement)
  • Daily photo and milestone updates via parent app
Pre-school programme

Pre-School Programme (EYFS)

Our pre-school programme is designed to prepare children for a smooth transition to primary school. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage framework, covering all seven areas of learning through a balance of structured activities and child-led exploration.

  • Phonics, early reading and mark-making
  • Number recognition and mathematical thinking
  • Social skills, sharing and turn-taking
  • Weekly progress reports and termly assessments
Key worker with child

Dedicated Key Worker System

Every child at Bright Beginnings is assigned a dedicated key worker from their first day. This practitioner becomes your child's primary point of contact, building a deep understanding of their interests, needs and developmental stage.

  • Consistent, trusted relationship for your child
  • Personalised learning journey documentation
  • Regular one-to-one time and observations
  • Direct communication channel with parents
Parent app

Parent App & Daily Updates

Our secure parent communication app keeps you connected to your child throughout the day. Receive real-time photos, activity logs, meal records and nappy changes, plus milestone notifications when your child achieves something new.

  • Real-time photo and video sharing
  • Meal, sleep and activity tracking
  • Milestone alerts and learning journal
  • Secure messaging with your key worker
