Born from a Love of Nature and Learning
Little Explorers was founded in 2016 by Priya Sharma, a former primary school teacher with a deep passion for Montessori education and the natural world. After years of seeing children thrive when given the freedom to explore, Priya set out to create a nursery that felt different.
Starting with just eight children in a converted Victorian house on Clifton Down Road, Little Explorers has grown into one of Bristol's most sought-after nurseries. Our waiting list speaks for itself, but our philosophy remains the same: children learn best when they are free, curious, and connected to the world around them.
Today, we care for over 60 children aged 3 months to 5 years, supported by a dedicated team of 18 qualified practitioners who share Priya's vision of nurturing confident, compassionate little explorers.
